BRIEF
Solae and Luna is a passion project, a dream come true for Chennai's gelato lovers, aiming to shake up the city's frozen treat game and provide a sweet escape from the scorching heat.
The name "Solae and Luna" isn't just catchy – "Solae" stands for the sun, bringing to mind the happiness and warmth you feel while savoring our scrumptious gelato. "Luna," on the other hand, represents the moon, offering a soothing, cool relief on those steamy summer nights.
Together, Solae and Luna capture the heart of what we’re all about: the perfect blend of warmth and coolness, joy and comfort.
IDEA
The design concept for Solae and Luna aimed to create a bright and fun visual identity, highlighting the essence of summer through a carefully chosen color palette.
For typography, a sans serif with a smooth, handmade script was used to add a personalised and artisanal feel.
Additionally, custom icons and patterns were developed to elevate the branding experience across various materials, from ice cream cups to cones and stickers, ensuring a cohesive and delightful brand journey for customers.
